Boarding

West Wind Kennels was designed to "house" your dog or cat either for the day or longer term while traveling. Please note all boarding rates are by-the-day. All of our kennels are inspected by the county and we are 100% dedicated to the safety and welfare of all of our guests, as that's how we treat them, as our guests. As one family to another, we sincerely hope you will choose West Wind Kennels for all of your short-term or long-term boarding needs.

7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Vaccinations

West Wind Kennels requires all boarding dogs and cats to submit current vaccination records, including proof of a valid rabies vaccine prior to boarding. No exceptions, so please plan ahead.

Dog Boarding Rates

All rates are per calendar day. If your pet spends the night, and many do, that will count as another day, regardless of drop off or pick up times. 

 

  • $16 per calendar day, per dog.

  • Exercise (20 min. session) is $2/session (up to 3x) per day.

  • Special diets and medications administered at no additional cost. 

Food Containers

We prefer for you to bring the food your dog/cat is currently on to avoid any digestive disruption.  Please provide dog/cat food in a hard plastic or metal container with a secure lid. We will provide the actual feeding and water bowls/dishes. We can no longer accept paper or plastic bags. 

Cat Boarding Rates

All rates are per calendar day. If your pet spends the night, and many do, that will count as another day, regardless of drop off or pick up times. 

 

  • $11 per calendar day, per cat.

  • Special diets and medications administered at no additional cost. 

  • Our feline guests get just as much attention as our bigger canine guests. 

Medication & Exercise

Please make sure you let us know of any special diet, medications or exercise requirements for your pet. We will do everything we can to accommodate your pets' needs.

The Dog House

101 Dog Runs, available for small, medium and large dogs. 

 

  • Kennel (sleep) areas are radiant heated.

  • Each run is 15 feet, but vary in width between 3 and 5 feet and climate controlled.

  • Exercise/Play yard has a 6' foot fence.

  • One dog/kennel and exercise is one-on-one to ensure safety (no communal play area).

  • $16 per calendar day, per dog.

  • Exercise is $2/period (up to 3x) per day.

  • Special diets and medications administer at no cost. 

The Cattery

32 Cat Runs, all with an outside Patio area. 

​

  • Each Cat Box is approximately 3 feet x 2 feet, with a similar size Patio area for those that like to be "outside".

  • Litter box and feed/water bowls provided.
